Summer Band Classes (and Private Lessons) with Social Distancing
This is NOT a time to slack off and sit bored at home. Join a band class and LEARN to make music!
Our band classes will use weekly live zoom video conferencing classes and SmartMusic (free with your enrollment).

Prince William Bands

Tuesday or Thursday Evenings (see specifics next to each class)
Dates: Week of June 16 - August 11 (9 weeks)
Instructors: Michelle Rupert (Woodwinds); Sarah Bryk (Brass) & Andrew Bannan (Percussion)

Classes are usually around 5-6 students! Day/Time still TBD but please register if interested (no payments at this time) to get on the roster.

  • Beginning Woodwinds (NO experience) - Tuesday 5:00-5:45 pm
  • Beginning Brass (NO experience) - Tuesday 5:30-6:15 pm
  • Beginning Percussion (NO experience) - Thursday 5:00-5:45 pm
  • Cadet Clarinets/Saxophones (One year experience and able to play concert Bb or F scale) - Tuesday 5:45-6:30 pm
  • Cadet Flutes/Oboe (One year experience and able to play concert Bb or F scale) - Tuesday 6:30-7:15 pm
  • Cadet Brass Ensemble (One year experience and able to play concert Bb or F scale) - Tuesday 6:15-7:00 pm
  • Cadet Percussion Ensemble (One year experience and able to play concert Bb or F scale w mallet percussion) - Thursday 5:45-6:30 pm
  • Concert Woodwind Ensemble (Two years experience and able to play 3 scales) - Tuesday 7:15-8:00 pm
  • Concert Brass Ensemble (Two years experience and able to play 3 scales) - Tuesday 7:00-7:45 pm
  • Concert Percussion Ensemble (Two years experience and able to play 3 scales w mallet percussion) - Thursday 6:30-7:15 pm

​Cost/Additional Details:
  • All classes are $165 for the Summer Semester. Private lessons are $32 per 30 minute lesson. Cost does not includes any books or music needed for the class (we will provide a link to the needed book at Amazon). Please wait until we email you that there are enough students to hold the class and then we will accept deposits and/or payments. I will ask for a $30 non-refundable deposit as we get closer to start date.
  • A multi-family member discount is offered with $20 off for the 2nd student and $50 off for the 3rd (or additional) students of the same family.
  • Once the session has started, fees are non-refundable. The price is not prorated for absences as directors will still be teaching those weeks.
  • If paying by check or direct deposits, make payable to "Musically Creative".
